Wednesday 10th March 2010, 7.30pm at Houghall College,
Talk by Nafferton Organics on
growing potatoes and other vegetables. Nafferton farm is near Stocksfield and is used by
the University of Newcastle for research into organic production and environmental studies.
Wednesday 14th April 2010, Practical evening, "Growing and the use of organic herbs" with Dianne
Nichol-Brown of the Polemonium Plantery.
Please note that this meeting will take place at the Polemonium Plantery
and not at Houghall College. Please get in touch if you need directions.
Wednesday 12th May 2010, 7.30pm at Mount Oswald Manor, South Road, Durham,
'The Hidden Beauty of Plants' by Dr Phil Gates, which will look at plants at the microscopic level.
